Bus Zone signs usually prohibit other vehicles from stopping in the zone.

- Read the sign face first, then any smaller panels above or below it.
- Check arrows to see where the controlled kerb section starts and ends.
- Check days, times, permit wording, payment wording and vehicle-class wording.
- Do not stop in the zone unless specifically permitted.
If a fine notice mentions this sign
- Check whether the notice refers to a Bus Zone sign or a related rule.
- Photograph the sign from the driver's approach direction if the street setup can still be checked.
